Who We Are
A social club with a scorecard for good.
Gang Green Golf Club, Inc is a nonprofit social club built around a simple idea: the people who love this game can open it up to the people who can't yet reach it.
Founded in 2020 by a group of military veterans, we are golfers, patrons and donors who gather for three majors and a charity classic each year. The weekends are about fellowship. The proceeds are about opportunity — community support for junior and underprivileged golfers, and scholarships for young men and women chasing a future in the game.
Mission
To grow the game of golf by providing financial support to junior golfers while enhancing the communities in which we live and play.
Vision
To empower young men and women to fulfill their dreams as future golf professionals.
The G3C Scholarship
Each year the club awards three $5,000 scholarships to help talented young people pursue their education alongside the game — graduating high school seniors, the children and families of G3C members, and military spouses.
Join the club that plays forward.
Membership is open to anyone who loves the game and wants their rounds to count for something. Come for the majors, stay for the fellowship, and help send a junior golfer further.
The 2026 Season

G3C Ryder Cup 2026
Four teams, forty-eight golfers, five rounds over four days in Orlando — round-robin team golf, then singles elimination, for the G3C Ryder Cup.
How it came together
The Ryder Cup is the club's team event — four squads of twelve, drafted and captained, playing for a cup rather than a card. It opens the season each spring.
Five rounds over four days. The first three are a round robin: every team plays each of the other three in Four‑Ball, Shamble and Alternate Shot, one format a day. The last two rounds are single‑elimination singles matches to settle it.

The G3C Scholarship
Investing in the next
generation of leaders.
Each year the club awards three merit-based scholarships of $5,000 — one for a member or their family, one for a military spouse, and one for a graduating high school senior.
What we're looking for
The G3C Scholarship rewards more than a scorecard. Selection is merit-based, and the committee weighs the whole applicant — the student, the teammate, the volunteer, and the person with a plan for what comes next.
- Academic achievement
- Leadership and character
- Community service and volunteerism
- A personal essay and clear future goals
- A demonstrated commitment to excellence
The full application is on this page — fields, essay and both letters of recommendation. Recipients are announced after the committee review each year.
The values behind it
- Discipline
- Showing up, on the course and off it
- Integrity
- Playing it straight when no one is watching
- Perseverance
- Recovering from a bad hole, a bad week, a bad year
- Community
- Leaving the game more open than you found it

Empowering future
golfers today.
The club's giving runs year-round, not just on tournament weekends — a standing partnership with First Tee of San Antonio, and a holiday season of meals, toys and family support across the country.
Our anchor partner is First Tee — Greater San Antonio, where G3C provides funds, time, golf equipment and sponsorships to introduce the game to kids who might never otherwise pick up a club. The club also supports the Charles Schwab Challenge Grant.
In September 2025, club officers presented First Tee of Greater San Antonio with an $8,500 check — the kind of contribution the majors and the Classic are built to make possible.
Operation Holiday Cheer
Nearly $8,000, six communities.
Each holiday season the club pools resources to fund meals and family assistance in the cities its members call home.
Operation Holiday Cheer distributed close to $8,000 across six U.S. locations — Mitchellville, Maryland; Warner Robins, Georgia; Summerville, South Carolina; Las Vegas, Nevada; and San Antonio, Texas — supporting holiday meals and family assistance programs. In San Antonio, the club also organized a toy drive for the Davis‑Scott Family YMCA.
